Dita Von Teese Kills it for Cointreau at the House of Blues
Bombshell beauty Dita Von Teese captivated her audience during her performance for Cointreau at the House of Blues in New Orleans on Tuesday night. The kick-off event for Tales of the Cocktail (the annual mixology festival held in New Orleans) also included Mr. Murray Hill serving as the MC and performances by Selene Luna, Perle Noir, and Duke Lafayette.
Dita gave enthusiastic fans exactly what they wanted, performing her "Be Cointreauversial" show from a giant martini glass. The Cointreau "brand ambassadress" took to the carpet sipping a Cointreau Tease cocktail and looking stunning in a Sonia Rykiel dress and Christian Louboutin heels which were the perfect compliment to her standard 40's look. Beautiful!
Cointreau also unveiled three original short films starring Dita which focus on the history behind three classic cocktails: Cointreau Original Margarita, Cointreau Cosmopolitan, and Cointreau Sidecar. View them on the Cointreau Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/cointreauus

The 4-1-1 on the Social Scene: The New York Observer Celebrates Lindsey Wheat, Newest Dating Columnist
Lindsey Wheat, the newest dating columnist for the New York Observer, was the guest of honor celebrating the launch of her new weekly read, For Richer or Poorer. The hundred person fete included power couple Ivanka Trump and Jared Kuchner (shown with Wheat) who gathered at NYC hot spot Trump Soho where the DJ kept minglers on their feet by spinning throughout the night. The bash continued until the wee hours of the evening (translated: oh-so-early-hours of the morning) at velvet-roped Avenue night club, where then free-agent, now newest member of the Miami Heat, LeBron James (really, I hadn't heard where he decided to play), Jeremy Piven, and Mary J. Blige did an impromptu freestyle performance.
Congrats to Lindsey!!!
Congrats to Lindsey!!!

Old, New, and Fabulous
Everthing old certainly can be new again, and in the case of Tanna Frederick old turned new can mean a "fashion-do." The star of Irene in Time and this summer's Hollywood Dreams, co-starring Noah Wyle, sports this adorable dress made out of old surf tees at the Third Annual Project SOS: SURF 24 a 24-hour surfathon to benefit Surfrider Foundation, Heal the Bay, and Inside the Outdoors. The "Ballgown" dress, designed by Angela Johnson, is one of many designs made by "thrifted" tees. The event took place June 19th at Southside Huntington Beach Pier, Huntington Beach, CA. Tanna is all smiles here with John Slattery and Tate Donavan (ummm, yeah, who wouldn't be all smiles with arms draped around those two?)!
